Funnel pens are mostly used for gold work (a separate funnel pen can be used also for pen work). Ideal for doing continuous and even width lines.

Fill the brass on the head of the pen with your liquid gold (or pen ink). Use it with a gentle motion. Do not press too hard as you could damage the point. Gold or pen ink should flow easily from the tip without pressing.

Always clean the funnel pen using gold facilitator, gold essence or lavender oil (or alcohol if you’re using it for pen work) using the wire cleaner each time. Make sure the tip is thoroughly clean before storing or the funnel pen may clog.
